10 of Britain's favourite brands of tea, ranked from best to worst, for National Tea Day
April 21 is National Tea Day.
(That’s not to be confused with International Tea Day which, as everybody knows, falls on December 15.)
Tea-drinkers had some good news last year when the Health Council of the Netherlands published guidelines recommending that people drink between three and five cups a day.
“There are clear signs that drinking tea is good for your health,” said Eert Schoten, a spokesman for the health council. “Three to five cups a day reduce blood pressure, diabetes and stroke risks.”
With legions of tea fanatics expressing their love for tea on Twitter, we conducted a straw poll and put together this list of our favourite brands.
Now we want to hear from you. Vote for your favourite teas on the list below – and use the Twitter and Facebook buttons to tell the world how you voted.
